The Everything Kit

Why we tested it

The Everything Kit caught our attention by consolidating Maker's Clean's most popular microfiber tools into a single, curated bundle. Many homeowners struggle with choosing the right textile for specific surfaces, often resorting to ineffective paper towels or generic rags. This kit solves that fragmentation by providing a specialized cloth for every household task, from delicate electronics to heavy-duty scrubbing. We tested it to see if this variety pack truly simplifies the cleaning process or if it adds unnecessary clutter. By grouping high-GSM, task-specific cloths, the brand positions itself as a professional-grade solution for daily maintenance, standing out from generic multi-packs that lack the specialized weave structures required for streak-free glass or deep-cleaning surfaces.

Who it's for

This kit is ideal for homeowners who want to upgrade their cleaning arsenal with professional-grade tools that actually perform. It is perfect for those moving into a new home or anyone looking to replace a drawer full of mismatched, ineffective rags with a color-coded, organized system. However, if you prefer disposable cleaning wipes or only perform minimal surface dusting, the investment in these reusable, high-quality microfiber cloths may be more than you require. It is best suited for individuals who value durability and want to reduce paper towel waste through a more sustainable, long-term cleaning strategy.

Real-world performance

In real-world use, the kit excels by matching the right texture to the right surface. The Glass & Electronics cloth consistently delivers streak-free results on screens and mirrors, while the Heavy-Duty DUO cloth handles stubborn grime on countertops with ease. Users report that the Maker's Mini is surprisingly effective for quick spot-cleaning despite its small size. The Waffle Weave cloth stands out for its ability to trap debris without leaving lint behind, a common issue with cheaper alternatives. Because each cloth is engineered for a specific purpose, the overall cleaning efficiency is noticeably higher than using a single type of rag for the entire house. The durability of the fibers remains high after multiple washes, confirming that the premium construction justifies the investment for those who clean frequently.
