Tile Sticker - Small Bluetooth Tracker

Why we tested it

We tested the Tile Sticker because it addresses the persistent frustration of misplacing small, non-keychain items like TV remotes, camera gear, and wireless controllers. While many trackers are designed for keyrings, the Tile Sticker stands out due to its compact, adhesive-backed form factor, allowing it to attach directly to flat surfaces where traditional trackers fail. We wanted to see if its adhesive durability and Bluetooth range could genuinely simplify daily organization. By integrating with the Life360 ecosystem, it offers a unified tracking solution for both personal belongings and family safety, making it a compelling choice for users who need a discreet, 'stick-it-and-forget-it' solution for their most frequently lost household electronics.

Who it's for

This device is ideal for tech enthusiasts, busy parents, and anyone prone to losing small electronics or household items. It is perfect for those who already utilize the Life360 app for family coordination and want to consolidate their tracking needs. However, users looking for long-range GPS tracking or those who prefer a device with a user-replaceable battery should look elsewhere, as the Sticker is designed for a three-year lifespan before requiring replacement.

Real-world performance

In real-world scenarios, the Tile Sticker performs reliably as a short-range proximity finder. Users report that the adhesive is surprisingly robust, holding firm on plastic remotes and metal surfaces alike. The Bluetooth connectivity allows for quick triggering of an audible alert via the app, which is loud enough to locate items buried under couch cushions or inside bags. While it lacks the precision of ultra-wideband technology found in some competitors, the integration with the broader Tile and Life360 network provides a helpful 'last known location' feature when the item is out of direct Bluetooth range. Most users find the three-year battery life convenient, as it removes the need for maintenance, though the inability to swap the battery means the entire unit must be replaced eventually.
